`The Hayfield at Evening`
William Hyams (1878-1952)
A tranquil watercolour by William Hyams depicting a haystack in the corner of a field at evening, in the background a farm labourer is still at work. Hyams lived and worked in Brighton so this is most probably a Sussex scene. Dates I would imagine c1910-20. New double mount and swept gilt frame in excellent condition, glazed and ready to hang. Looks very nice on the wall.
