A typical large and spectacular watercolour by Thomas Hart, full of incredible detail and light depicting a panoramic view of Land`s End. Still retains the original Victorian gilt frame.
Thomas Hart FSA (1820 - 1886) was a Cornwall artist who painted landscapes and maritime scenes in watercolour and exhibited at the RA. He lived in a house overlooking the Lizard which he had built in 1868. His works are very distinctive and avidly collected worldwide.
